The college journey is meant to challenge us in new and exciting ways. With that being said, there are major differences between high school and college. From homework and projects to the accountability of actually attending class, a student's first year of college can be a transition like no other. The first 3 weeks of both your first and second semester are most important and your experiences can make or break your success. In recognizing this monumental transition the Housing & Residence Life Office has created a program to acclimate you to college by providing information significant to your overall development through the Yellowjacket Connection Program.

Attending the programs each week will give you a strong foundation for success, but that's not all. Each program you attend during the Yellowjacket Connection Program enters you in for a chance to win huge prizes. The more programs you attend during the Yellowjacket Connection Program the more chances you have to win these amazing prizes!

The Yellowjacket Connection Program takes a transitional theme each week during the first part of your semester and supports programming that can give you great information and advice in those areas to help your experience. The Yellowjacket Connection program offers many great programs from Getting to Know Your Campus through Staying Healthy in College and everything in between. All programs are free for students and we highly encourage you to attend because there are great prizes to win!
