MSU Billings announces 2019 Outstanding Graduates 

Students honored for academics, service, inspiration

MSU BILLINGS NEWS — They exemplify Montana State University Billings’ highest standards in academics, leadership, community involvement, and campus engagement. Three MSU Billings graduates have the distinction of holding the university’s most prestigious honor for students.

Recipients of the 2019 Outstanding Awards are Megan Wilson of Busby, Mont. representing City College, and Haylee Mooney of Helena, Mont. representing the University campus.

The Golden Merit Award recipient for 2019 is Miglena Ivanova of Varna, Bulgaria.

Awardees will receive special recognition at convocation and commencement ceremonies scheduled for May 2 through 4.

The 92nd MSUB Commencement takes place in MetraPark on Saturday, May 4 at 10 a.m.

Awards are given to students who have demonstrated exceptional personal and academic achievement at MSU Billings including their citizenship in support of the university’s goals and values and their potential for future success and achievement.

A selection committee represented by faculty from each college reviewed the finalists for the Outstanding Graduate Awards while the Associated Students of MSU Billings selected the Golden Merit recipient.
