MSU BILLINGS NEWS SERVICES —Lace up your running shoes and track for the future at the MSU Billings Mile on Saturday, Oct. 6. In its second year, this all-ages fun run is a benefit for MSU Billings scholarships.
Runners of all levels are invited to Montana State University Billings for a one-mile trek through campus. At 9 a.m., participants will line up on the Cisel Hall lawn and follow the course to the finish line south of McMullen Hall. Runners and their families can stay for a free breakfast and awards ceremony immediately after the race.
Thanks to one of the event’s official sponsors, ExxonMobil, the first 200 registrants under the age of 15 can race at no charge. Other registrants 15 and under pay $10, and adult runners over age 16 pay $20. All runners receive a free T-shirt, while supplies last. Register online at runsignup.com through Oct. 4, and pick up race packets Oct. 5 at the MSU Billings Foundation at 2615 Virginia Lane in Billings.
