MSU BILLINGS NEWS SERVICES —The MSU Billings Campus Store will host an open house on Sept. 21 to honor its recent relocation inside the Student Union Building (SUB) adjacent to Stinger’s Bistro. The new store also features a separate outdoor entrance just off of the SUB patio.
The grand opening and open house will begin at 11 a.m. and guests are encouraged to check out Stinger’s for lunch following the ceremony.
The Campus Store is excited to showcase their competitively priced fall lines and new merchandise including:
- Hydroflasks
- Skull Candy earbuds
- UpTop apparel
- Several locally sourced products
During the open house, the MSUB Campus Store will launch their updated logo, as well as their newest sale item, Jacket Water. A sidewalk sale and door prizes will be part of the open house.
The MSUB Campus Store is the first store in the state of Montana to no longer stock textbooks on the shelves. Instead, students are encouraged to purchase their books online through the distributor, MBS Direct, guaranteeing affordability and optional buy-backs at the end of the term.
The store’s website will soon be a new and improved online service, granting customers the ability to order various MSU Billings items through licensed, local vendors. This allows for greater affordability and quality customer service.
The former space has been renamed the Glacier Room, and is now available for commercial use as a meeting room or gathering place.
The Campus Store will continue to carry affordable apparel, school supplies, and many other items that students want and need. Popular food items like Wilcoxson’s ice cream, F’real milkshakes and smoothies, grab-and-go snacks, and bottled beverages.
Student athletes will continue to be supported as well through scholarships funded in part by textbook sales.
A new mobile store will serve the campus and community during various occasions, especially athletic events.
The Campus Store hopes that this change will continue to increase campus and community vibrancy and Yellowjacket spirit!
