MSU Billings Ensemble to play fundraiser for Explorer's Academy

Event scheduled for Nov. 3 at 7 p.m.

MSU BILLINGS NEWS—Music ensembles fromMontana State University Billings are set to play a fundraiser for Explorer’s Academy on Saturday, Nov. 3.

 

Musical performances include the Big Band, Combo, Blues Band, and Jackets Only A Capella. The event will be held at Craft Local, 2413 Montana Ave. in Billings.

 

A $5 donation will be accepted at the door and all proceeds go to Explorer’s Academy. All ages welcome to attend this musical event.

 

The Explorer’s Academy is a program of Head Start that provides comprehensive services for young children and their families to achieve school readiness and lifelong success.

 

“This is a great way for our music program to connect with the community,” commented John Roberts, assistant professor of low brass. “Our students enjoy playing for an audience and it is especially endearing when their efforts impact the lives of other people.”
