International Education Week celebrated at MSU Billings

MSU BILLINGS NEWS—International Education Week is Nov. 12 through 16 and MSU Billings’ Office of International Studies has planned a week full of events. Sponsored by the United States Department of State, MSUB is the only university in Montana participating in this event according to the organization's website.
Daily activities are planned to celebrate International Education Week at MSU Billings. Highlights of events include:
- Throughout the week, Sodexo Dining Services will host a different culture each day with a regional lunch menu. Wednesday, Nov. 14 will be Latino-American Cuisine, Thursday features European Cuisine, and Friday will be Asian/Middle Eastern Cuisine.
- An information session on study abroad opportunities will be held Thursday, Nov. 15 from 12 to 1 p.m. in SUB Banquet rooms A and B. The summer 2019 faculty-led programs to Germany, Spain, Peru, and Morocco will be highlighted during the information session. To close the day’s activities on Nov. 15, from 4 to 5 p.m., United Campus Ministry will host an International coffee hour and discussion on Japan.
- On Friday, Nov. 16, the MSUB Multicultural Club will host “Culture on Display” from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the SUB Atrium, featuring a different country and cultural aspect each hour.
- To bring International Education Week to a close, a Cultural Inspired Dance will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. in the SUB Glacier Room.
