MSU President Announces MSU Billings Chancellor Search Committee

Dear MSU Billings Community,

Thank you very much for your support for a national search to appoint the next Chancellor for MSU Billings. As I shared with you earlier in the week, Deputy Commissioner of Higher Education John Cech has kindly accepted my invitation to chair the Search Committee.

Working with Dr. Cech, we have identified a group that will serve as the MSU Billings Chancellor Search Committee. In forming this committee, we placed special attention to identifying individuals who represent the faculty, students, staff, alumni, community leaders and benefactors of MSU Billings. To assist the MSU Billings Chancellor Search Committee in this important endeavor, we have retained the consulting services of Greenwood/Asher & Associates. The committee will be aptly staffed by Julie Heard, Executive Assistant to Dr. Robert Mokwa, Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs at Montana State University. The first meeting for the MSU Billings Chancellor Search Committee has been scheduled for Friday, November 3, at the campus of City College MSU Billings. An agenda is viewable here (PDF).
