Award winning pianist to perform at MSUB
MSUB Connections Student Tanner Jorden announces solo debut recital at 7:30 p.m., April 7, in Cisel Recital Hall. Event is open and free to the public.

MSU BILLINGS NEWS SERVICES — Tanner Jorden, 14, and a Connections Student at Montana State University Billings, will perform his solo debut recital at 7:30 p.m., April 7th in Cisel Recital Hall, on the University campus.
In 2015, Jorden received honorable mention at a local competition. Shortly after, he attended the Utah State University Music Clinic and returned to study with MSUB Professor Dorothea Cromley.
In November, Jorden won the state level of the Music Teachers National Association Competition and received honorable mention at the regionals in Washington.
He also competed in the Los Angeles International Liszt Competition in November. Recently, Jorden received first place at the Montana Association of Symphony Orchestras Competition.
Jorden will perform a solo with symphony orchestras throughout Montana. He had his orchestral debut with the Great Falls Symphony, where he received a standing ovation, and was called back to the stage several times until he played an encore.
The Billings native has been invited to perform with the Billings and Glacier symphonies in 2018.
His recital at MSUB is free and the public is welcome to attend.
