MSU BILLINGS NEWS SERVICES — The MSU Billings College of Business (COB) is hosting an inaugural “B a Part of Experiential Learning” day tomorrow, (Wednesday, Dec. 20), from 10:30 a.m. to noon for over 300 Montana high school students from the Business Professionals of America club.
This event includes half-hour sessions for the students to learn from MSUB faculty and staff and experience the COB firsthand. Presenters for the break-out sessions include Bryan Grove, Alex Petrino, Brian Gurney, Patrico Mori, Ph.D., Anna Talfuse, Ph.D., Jessie Perius, Brenda Dockery, and Trevor Belnap.
BPA students were on campus this week to compete in written and oral presentations related to a variety of business disciplines during their regional leadership conference.
Dr. Diane Duin, Dean of the College of Business, commented, “It is exciting to visit with so many students who are clearly interested in business and introduce them to MSUB’s many degrees and programs.”
Business Professionals of America is an intra-curricular activity that is part of an education program designed to develop leadership abilities, competency in business occupations and interest in the American business system. Their mission is to empower students to succeed in a world-class workforce through the development of leadership, academic and technological skills.
Montana BPA will host their state competition on the MSU Billings campus in March 2018.
Please help us welcome these students who could have a future as potential Yellowjackets if you see them on campus this week.
