MSUB’s Sigma Tau Delta sponsors annual Writers Roundup

Event takes place from noon to 5 p.m., Saturday, Dec 3, in conjunction with Family Tree Center’s Festival of Trees at MetraPark Expo Center

MSU BILLINGS NEWS SERVICES — Need a unique holiday gift for the bibliophile in your life? Then check out the 2016 Writers Roundup, sponsored by the Montana State University Billings branch of Sigma Tau Delta, the international English honor society.

The roundup takes place from noon-5 p.m., at MetraPark Expo Center, in conjunction with the Family Tree Center’s Festival of Trees.

The public is encouraged to visit with more than 20 authors, including Dan Aadland, Jerry Bauck, Dave Caserio, Cara Chamberlain, Diane Elliot, Barbara Graham, Elisa Lorello, Jean Posusta, Russell Rowland and more. (Authors may not be able to stay the entire time, weather permitting).

Additionally, the event will offer signed books, a raffle for a basket of books, and gift wrapping.

Dr. Rachel Schaffer, Sigma Tau Delta faculty advisor, said all of the money raised supports scholarships for MSUB English majors.

She said, “so they can complete their education without going into quite as much debt.”
