MSUB Music Department announces junior, senior recitals
Guitar performance major Patrick LaFountain to perform junior recital Nov. 18 and music education major Isabella Marie Heaps presents her senior recital on Nov. 19, in Cisel Recital Hall. The public is invited to attend both performances, free, in the Cisel Recital Hall.

MSU BILLINGS NEWS SERVICES — Patrick LaFountain, a Montana State University Billings guitar performance major, will perform his junior recital at 7:30p.m., Friday, November 18, in Cisel Recital Hall. The concert is free and open to the public.
LaFountain is a Billings native who discovered his passion for the guitar in the fourth grade.
After high school, LaFountain joined the MSUB Music Performance Program and began studying classical guitar under the guidance of Elizabeth Adcock, adjunct faculty, guitar.
His junior recital will include pieces by Heitor Villa Lobos, Nicolo Paganini, and Johann Sebastian Bach.
The following day, the music department presents a senior recital.
Isabella Marie Heaps, flautist, will be showcased during a senior recital at 3p.m., Saturday, November 19, in Cisel Recital Hall.
Heaps is originally from Baker, Montana.
She currently studies flute with Emeritus Professor of Clarinet and Saxophone Gary Behm.
Heaps attended Dawson Community College, in Glendive, Montana and earned an associate’s degree in music education.
She transferred to MSU Billings and is currently earning her bachelor’s degree in music education.
Heaps has played in the University Symphonic Band and Pep Band.
The program will include pieces by Handel and Mozart.
Her senior recital is free and open to the public.
