MSU BILLINGS NEWS SERVICES — The Iowa Board of Regents have appointed MSUB Chancellor Mark Nook as the eleventh University of Northern Iowa President.
Nook has led the MSUB campus since July, 2014, when he took the helm from retiring Chancellor Rolf Groseth.
“I am very proud of Mark and knew he had the leadership abilities to be president. The University of Northern Iowa has made a wise choice and I know UNI’s students, faculty, staff and alumni will enjoy working with Mark, remarked MSU President Waded Cruzado. “I also know this position fulfills a long-held desire by Mark and Cheryl to be closer to their family roots. Mark has served Montana State University Billings with great enthusiasm and dedication. UNI can expect the same. From all of us in the MSU family, we wish Mark and Cheryl the very best.”
