2015 Juried Student Show Award Winners Announced

Exhibition Continues Through April 30
MSUB Department of Art’s Annual Juried Student Show is on display at the Northcutt
Steele Gallery through April 30. Awards recognizing outstanding achievement were selected
by Guest Juror, Stephen Glueckert, and were announced at a reception held at the gallery
on Thursday, April 9.
Stephen Glueckert is Senior Curator of Exhibitions at Missoula Art Museum, a post
he has held since 1992. He is also a practicing studio artist and has written extensively
about contemporary art in Montana.
The winners of this year’s awards are: Bonny Beth Luhman, Seeds of Life, digital video (Best in Show); Kyle Hedden, my name is mattingly and I love pizza and base ball, mixed-media sculpture (3-D Merit of Excellence); Melissa Morford, Disguised, digital collage (2-D Merit of Excellence); Shayla Fiscus, Wanderer Print 2, poly plate litho print (Honorable Mention); Holly Grob, Beacon, mixed-media sculpture
(Honorable Mention); Zachary Hinkle, Untitled, screenprint (Honorable Mention); and Robbie Mann, Hands Up, painting (Honorable Mention).
The Northcutt Steele Gallery is located on the first floor of the Liberal Arts on
the Montana State University Billings campus. The gallery is open Monday – Friday
