MSU BILLINGS NEWS SERVICES — Matthew Bowman will perform his senior recital on Thursday, March 27, at 7:30 p.m. in Cisel Recital Hall on the MSU Billings four-year campus. The recital is free and open to the public.
Bowman, who studies euphonium under Professor John Roberts, participates in the MSUB Concert Band and the Low Brass Ensemble.
A Jackson, Tenn. native, Bowman holds a degree in recording industry technology, which has made him a valuable asset to the MSU Billings Music Department where he assists in live sound and digital recording to document recitals and concerts that occur in Cisel Hall.
He has competed in the NAACP ACTS final as a classical vocalist and has worked as a composer for various church conferences and organizations.
Bowman will perform works from Galliard, Blazevich, Shostakovich and Barat.
