MSU BILLINGS NEWS SERVICES — Montana State University Billings (MSUB) vocal and piano performance major Rachel
Kathleen Weitz will present her Junior Vocal Recital on Sunday, April 14 at 3 p.m.
in Cisel Recital Hall on the MSUB campus. She will be accompanied by pianist Sandi
Rabas. The recital is open to the public and free of charge.
Weitz grew up in Billings, Mont., and began attending MSUB at the age of 14 through
the University Connections Program for high school students. During her academic career,
she has consistently been on the honor roll, achieving this status every semester. She
has studied voice with Professor Douglas Nagel for the past two years, and also studies piano
with Professor Dorothea Cromley. She enjoys the rich learning environment of the MSUB
Department of Music, and loves living in Billings because of the natural beauty Montana
has to offer. In addition, Weitz has a growing photography business.
Weitz also has taught piano and voice for the past five years and is excited to share
her love of music with her students.
