MSU BILLINGS NEWS SERVICES — Most fall days, the residence halls at Montana State University Billings are home to 600 college students. But just in time for Halloween fun, the term “dorm life” takes on a new meaning.

Students who live in the residence halls, their resident assistants and other volunteers will turn Petro Hall and Rimrock Hall into fun, safe and warm trick-or-treating venues on Tuesday, Oct. 30.  The event starts at 6 p.m. and is open to the community.  There will be treats as well as carnival activities in the Student Union Building atrium.

This is the sixth year the MSU Billings housing crew has offered the trick-or-treating venue and the housing staff anticipates a lot of interest because it gives youngsters and their families a safe and fun-filled way to start Halloween festivities.

In previous years, about 400 trick-or-treaters came through the dorms and the RAs are planning for a similar turnout this year. MSU Billings residence hall students and their RAs will decorate the halls serve as guides for each group.

The event is funded by the Associated Students of MSU Billings, the Residence Halls Association, residence hall staff and volunteer donations.
