Downtown sessions are free and open to the public 

 

MSU BILLINGS NEWS SERVICES — Montana State University Billings, with support of community partners, will host a series of five open community meetings in November and December so that area citizens and constituency groups can discuss issues with Yellowstone area legislators prior to the 2013 legislative session. 

 

The Yellowstone Area Delegation community meetings will be held on selection Mondays at the MSU Billings Downtown Campus, 208 N. Broadway, beginning Monday, Nov. 19.  The meetings are from 7-8:30 a.m. and are open to the public. Subsequent sessions will be held:

  • Monday, Nov. 26
  • Monday, Dec. 3
  • Monday, Dec. 10
  • Monday, Dec. 17

Citizens and constituency groups can schedule 15-minute timeslots to make presentations or speak with legislators about key issues or concerns prior to the 2013 Montana Legislature, which begins on Monday, Jan. 7, 2013.  

 

Presented with support from the Billings Chamber of Commerce/Convention and Visitors Bureau, Yellowstone County and the city of Billings, the community sessions are open to any citizen or group who wishes to offer ideas or input to area legislators. Requests will be taken on a first-come, first-served basis.
