Ethan GrayMSU BILLINGS NEWS SERVICES — Ethan Gray, a music performance major at Montana State University Billings, will perform his Junior Recital on Tuesday, April 10, in Cisel Recital Hall at 7:30 p.m. The recital is free and open to the public.

 

Gray, a student of Ethan is a student of Luke Kestner and Matt Devitt, will perform works by Miles Davis, Abe, Lipner, Reich, Sejourne and others. He graduated from Billings Senior High in 2008 and has been attending MSU Billings for the last three years, with a year break serving a combat tour in Afghanistan.  While at MSU Billings, he has participated in various ensembles such as Symphonic Band, Jazz Band, Percussion Ensemble, and Pep Band.

 

Garion Holian, a fellow music performance major, will join Gray on marimba at the recital.  He will close the program with a jazz number with John Alexander, Gary Behm and Mark Fenderson.
