922 students receive degrees at Rimrock Auto Arena at MetraPark during 84th annual ceremony
MSU BILLINGS NEWS SERVICES — Montana State University Billings graduated the largest number of students in its
history on Saturday, April 30, 2011, when 922 students received degrees during the
university’s 84th commencement at MetraPark’s Rimrock Auto Arena.
MSU Billings conferred degrees on candidates for graduation for the 2010-11 academic
years, according to Cheri Johannes, director of admissions and records.
An urban university with five colleges, MSU Billings is located in the state’s largest
city — the regional hub for business, industry, communications and health care. MSU
Billings offers unique advantages, including real-world education through on-the-job
internships in hundreds of careers.
