MSU BILLINGS NEWS SERVICES —
Billings area residents have a chance to talk directly to lawmakers this week to get an update on current activity in the Montana Legislature.
This is the latest technologically interactive meeting that the Yellowstone area delegation will hold with residents during the 2011 session. The meetings are coordinated by area legislators, Montana State University Billings, the city of Billings, Yellowstone County, the Billings Chamber of Commerce/ Convention Visitors Bureau, St. Vincent Healthcare and The Billings Clinic.
The next meeting will be held Thursday, March 17 at noon at the MSU Billings Downtown Campus, 214 N. Broadway. The session is free and open to the public.
The meeting will be carried through a Met-Net link between Helena and Billings. Legislators from the Yellowstone River valley and nearby counties will be linked in Helena to the MSU Billings Downtown Campus. Legislators will be available to answer questions and give insights into the session.
For more information on the meeting, contact Dan Carter at MSU Billings at 657-2269 or Bruce MacIntyre, director of government affairs at the Billings Chamber of Commerce, at 869-3723.
