MSU BILLINGS NEWS SERVICES — The unmistakable atmosphere of a summer carnival — complete with races, food and family fun — will fill the air at this year’s Summerfest at Montana State University Billings.
The university’s annual community celebration of all things that make summer fun, Summerfest is a family-oriented event open to all. It is co-sponsored by the university’s Student Activities Board and the Associated Students of MSU Billings.
The free event is for Tuesday, July 12 from 4:30-8 p.m. on the grounds of the university’s main campus at 1500 University Drive. It is open to anyone in the area and the games, cotton candy and snow cones are always free. A barbecue picnic costs $4 per person.
Summerfest will also feature inflatable games and toys for both adults and children. There will be free balloons, face painting, a dunking booth, rock climbing wall, the Shrine clowns and train, box and bounce, an inflatable Big Slide, a derby race and a basketball challenge.
Join the MSU Billings family for a fun-filled evening.
