MSU Billings student elected to National Honors Society Council

MSU BILLINGS NEWS SERVICES — Emily Harris, an honors student at Montana State University Billings, was recently elected to the Board of Directors for the National Collegiate Honors Council, the national association for honors programs.
Harris, a senior from Billings majoring in psychology with a minor in creative writing, was elected to serve a one-year term as a student member of the board of directors. A highly active student in academic and extracurricular affairs, Harris has presented at national honors conferences and has been involved in student government and student life activities. She is currently serving as the vice president of the Associated Students of Montana State University Billings.
The National Collegiate Honors Council is the professional association of undergraduate honors programs and colleges; honors directors and deans; and honors faculty, staff, and students. NCHC provides support for institutions and individuals developing, implementing, and expanding honors education through curriculum development, program assessment, teaching innovation, national and international study opportunities, internships, service and leadership development, and mentored research.
