Student presents junior guitar recital April 17

MSU BILLINGS NEWS SERVICES — Curtis Johnson, a junior Music Major at Montana State University Billings, will present his Junior Recital on Sunday, April 17 at 3 p.m. in Cisel Recital Hall on the MSU Billings main campus. The performance is free and open to the public.
Jonson has studied classical guitar for almost 10 years. He began his studies with Jeff Morrison and continued with Elizabeth Adcock at MSU Billings. He recently traveled to Castilla and Leōn in Spain and studied the Spanish guitar. He also studied music at the Spanish School in Salamanca, Spain called Letra Hispanica.
During his recital, he will perform works by Fernando Carulli, Nicolo Paganini, Isaac Albeniz, Baden Powell, Joaquin Turina and Luis de Soria.
