Senior saxophone recital set for Glendive music education student

Free program set for January 16
MSU BILLINGS NEWS SERVICES — Jenay Murphy, a senior at Montana State University Billings, will perform her her Senior Saxophone Recital on Saturday, Jan. 16 at 3 p.m. The recital, to be held in the Cisel Recital Hall on the MSU Billings main campus, is free and the public is encouraged to attend.
The program will include saxophone pieces by Couf, Maurice, Absil, Hindemith, and Françaix. Lee Hancock will be accompanying on the piano.
Murphy, who is a student of and a student of Dr. Gary Behm, is a graduate of Dawson County High School in Glendive. Her parents are Jere and PreElla Murphy. This is her last MSU Billings recital before she begins student teaching in the spring, which will then complete her degree in Music Education.
