MSU BILLINGS NEWS SERVICES — The Montana State University Billings Foundation Board of Trustees recently elected officers and new trustees.
Officers are:
Chairman —Joe McClure, CEO, Advanced Care Hospital of Montana;
Vice-Chairman — Joel Guthals, President, Guthals Hunnes & Reuss, PC;
Immediate Past Chair — Sharon Peterson, Associate Director, Leadership Montana;
Secretary – Melanie Schwarz, Owner, saltStudio Billings;
Treasurer – Don Allen, Retired CPA, Anderson Zurmuehlen & CO PC
New Trustees elected are:
Bobby Anner-Hughes, attorney with Anner-Hughes Law Firm; Sharon Ille, retired school counselor; Mark Dawson, Broker/Owner, Century 21 Hometown Brokers; Curt Kochner, retired vice chancellor for student affairs at MSU Billings; Joanne Sheridan, shareholder with Anderson, Zurmuehlen & Co.; Frank Cross, owner of Reporter Big Sky Office; Kris Aschim, promotions director at KULR 8; Dr. Kurt Toenjes, assistant professor of biology at MSU Billings.
The core purpose of the MSU Billings Foundation is to help the university achieve excellence. Its mission is to advance the goals of MSU Billings through the solicitation, investment, and stewardship of financial support for the university. The foundation promotes philanthropy, campus and community partnerships, and educational opportunities.
