Music education student presents senior flute recital

MSU BILLINGS NEWS SERVICES — Jaclyn Rooney, a Montana State University Billings music student, will present her Senior Flute Recital on Saturday, Dec. 5 at 7:30 p.m. in Cisel Recital Hall on the MSU Billings main campus. The concert is free and open to the public.
Rooney’s recital will include works by Handel, Poulenc, Quantz and Saint-Saëns, including Saint-Saëns’ “Tarantella for Flute,” “Clarinet” and “Piano,” accompanied by Dr. Gary Behm and Delores Vigesaa.
The daughter of Al and Dana Rooney of Billings, Jaclyn is a home-school graduate and a former student of Amy Logan and Millie Marsh. She currently studies with Dr. Gary Behm. She is completing a degree in Music Education and Flute Performance and plans on student teaching in the spring.
