MSU BILLINGS NEWS SERVICES — A representative from Montana State University Billings will be visiting Missoula next week to talk about academic, scholarship and student life options.

Kealy Dowd, a new student specialist from MSU Billings, will be at Missoula Sentinel High School Wednesday, March 4. Students interested in learning more about academic and scholarship opportunities with MSU Billings may meet with Dowd at Missoula Sentinel at 1:20 p.m. No appointment is necessary.

Specific information about the more than 100 degree options will be available and students can learn about some of the scholarship opportunities available to them.

Students can also find out how to get started through courses delivered online. A variety of introductory eight-week courses will be available online starting March 9 and are open to high school students. The new “MSU Billings Career Stimulus Plan” provides people the opportunity to investigate a subject matter over the next eight weeks. Subjects include data processing, business, psychology and philosophy.

MSU Billings is a comprehensive university based in Montana’s largest city and offers one of the best values in the Montana University System. Students can earn two-year and four-year degrees through the colleges of Allied Health Professions, Arts and Sciences, Business, Education and Technology.
