MSU BILLINGS NEWS SERVICES — The Montana State University Billings Art Students’ League will host its annual fund-raising art auction this weekend.
The auction, to help raise money for needed art equipment and supplies not covered by department funds, will be held Friday, April 17 at the MSU Billings Downtown Campus, 214 N. Broadway. The event kicks off with a reception and silent auction at 6 p.m. followed by the live auction at 7 p.m.
Anyone interested in fine art or supporting students and their efforts at MSU Billings is invited to attend. There will be beverages, light hors d’oeuvres and art for sale by local artists, MSU Billings students and faculty. Proceeds will be used to help purchase needed supplies for students and the department.
The Art Students’ League works to help expand the education of students in and beyond the realm of the classroom and to encourage a new generation of artists to set roots in the growing local arts community.
