MSU BILLINGS NEWS SERVICES — A wide variety of Montana State University Billings student artwork will be on display — and for sale — at the next Artwalk and annual Downtown Billings Christmas Stroll on Friday, Dec. 5.
“One Night Only,” an exhibition of MSU Billings student final projects from Andrew Schell's painting class and Lea Zoltowski's ceramics class, will have an opening reception from 5-9 p.m. on Dec. 5 at the MSU Billings Downtown Campus, Broadway IIIA Room, 2804 3rd Ave. North.
The MSU Billings Potters’ Guild is also holding its annual Christmas Stroll Pottery Sale at the same location. Stop in early for the best selection of durable, functional holiday gifts. All proceeds benefit the student artists and scholarships for students to attend the 2009 NCECA (National Council on Education in the Ceramic Arts) Conference.
Joy Hayworth, a staff member at the MSU Billings Downtown Campus, will also perform live spinning wheel demonstrations and sell some of her hand-spun yarn.
