Handmade Teapot Raffle at Art Walk to Benefit Student Scholarships at MSU Billings

MSU BILLINGS NEWS SERVICES — tudents in the Montana State University Billings Potters’ Guild will have a variety of handmade teapots on display and offered for sale Friday during the Art Walk.
The artwork will be on display and for sale 5-9 p.m. at the MSU Billings Downtown Campus, 208 N. Broadway. This is the guild’s last sale of the year and all proceeds will be used for scholarships for students to attend the March 2008 National Council on Education for the Ceramic Arts conference in Pittsburgh , Penn. Participating student artists receive 100 percent of the proceeds of artwork sales to help them attend this important professional development conference. NCECA is the largest annual ceramics conference in the world.
A variety of handmade porcelain teapots and serving bowls will be raffled off at the Art Walk to benefit these student scholarships.
The MSU Billings Potters' Guild is a student organization fostering excellence in the ceramic arts. Membership is free and open to any MSU Billings student or alumni.
