MSU BILLINGS NEWS SERVICES — Anyone who has ever wondered how to get started in college, return to college to complete a degree or explore a new career path but didn’t know where to turn can get help from Montana State University Billings.
Using a one-stop-shopping format, MSU Billings is offering a monthly “First Thursday, First Step College Information Session” that will provide information on any topic prospective college students might have. In January, the session is scheduled for Thursday, Jan. 3 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the MSU Billings Downtown campus, 208 N. Broadway.
Student services representatives from the university will be on hand to meet with anyone interested in pursuing higher education options, whether they be traditional degree programs, graduate programs or other adult learner opportunities. They will be able to answer questions about the college admissions process, financial aid, academic programs and career options.
The sessions are free and no appointments are necessary.
MSU Billings is a regional, urban university that offers more than 160 academic programs in five different colleges: Allied Health Professions, Arts & Sciences, Business, Education and Technology. The university also offers a variety of continuing education and personal growth programs through the College of Professional Studies and Lifelong Learning.
If anyone has questions prior to the “First Thursday, First Step College Information Session” they can call the Office of New Student Services at 657-2888.
