MSU BILLINGS NEWS SERVICES — Community members, students and faculty from Montana State University Billings and Rocky Mountain College will gather to read favorite poems on Friday, April 18, at 7 p.m., at the MSU Billings Downtown Campus, 214 North Broadway. This reading will combine American and international poetry, and will feature works read in Russian, Spanish, Finnish, Sami, Turkish and other languages.
Sponsored by the Yellowstone Writers’ Collective, this reading is offered as a celebration of National Poetry Month, which was introduced by the Academy of American Poets in 1996 to increase appreciation for poetry.
