The following list of student organizations are registered as active organizations with MSU Billings. The status of an organization may change during the course of a year. New student organizations also form throughout the year. Please contact the Center for Engagement if a question arises regarding a particular group. An organization whose primary purpose is creation or performance.
Jackets Only (Acapella)
Purpose: As members of the Montana State University Billings Vocal Department, we believe that by working together we can fulfill our overall objective of promoting the MSUB music department and raising money for the club and offering students both on and off campus opportunities to participate. We will accomplish this through partnering with other organizations on and off campus to provide educational outreach, awareness, and opportunities for involvement in singing, leadership, and fundraising events.
An organization that provides service to the campus and/or community and surrounding area. These groups offer safe communities for students that need help navigating the campus at MSUB.
OUT at MSU Billings
Purpose: By forming this group we intend to provide a safe place where LGBTQA+ and allies can come together to promote awareness and education on campus and the larger community.
Purpose: We are a student led volunteer organization on campus aimed at making an impact on our campus and community through volunteer work in the areas of health, education, and income.
Circle K
Developing college and university students into a global network of responsible citizens and leaders with a lifelong commitment to service.
An organization whose membership is to provide social and cultural awareness of various groups.
Purpose: To assist Indian students in their adjustment to college life, to promote better scholastic ability through encouragement to other students to attend a college, to foster pride in the racial and cultural heritage of the American Indian and to encourage participation in social activities. Also to help build a bond with Native American culture and Native community as well as produce an annual Pow Wow.
Multicultural Club
Purpose: To bring different cultures, languages, and people together in order to build relationships between international students and non-international students.
An organization representing a specific academic area or college OR one whose membership is based on academic achievements.
Honors Club
Purpose: The purpose of the Honors Club is to provide educational and academic opportunities for the students in the University Honors Program (UHP) and to share some of those activities with the campus community.
National Society of Leadership and Success
Purpose: Building leaders who make a better world.
Psi Chi/Psychology Club
Purpose: To encourage, stimulate, and maintain excellance in the scholarship of the member.

Sigma Tau Delta
Purpose: To promote the love of literature, language, and writing in all of their forms.
An organization focused on developing skills, knowledge, and/or networking for a specific profession or career.
Accounting Club
Purpose: To provide students with the opportunity to strengthen their skills in communications,
leadership, marketing, and management, to enable them to bridge the gap between academic
skills and professional skills.
Business Club
Purpose: Provide students with real world opportunities, service activies such as campus volunteer
work, and business immersion.
Investment Club
Purpose: To provide students with an opportunity to apply modern finance theory to investment decisions involving actual market transactions.
National Association for Music Education Collegiate (NAfME)
Purpose: We are a group of future music educators committed to learning more about our craft.
An organization that is based around the development of certain programs, services, and events, and/or seeks to provide a representational function for students to the university.
Purpose: The Associated Students of Montana State University Billings, as a committed organization, will provide professionalism and leadership to fulfill student needs and will do our best to make noticeable differences on our campus for the students of MSU Billings.
Health Educators Reaching Out Encouraging Success HEROES
Purpose: HEROES, joins the Bacchus peer education network in order to provide primary prevention efforts to help alleviate the problem of alcohol misuse and abuse on campus; to promote responsible decisions about drinking within the campus community; to help educate and inform students, faculty, administrators, and staff about health issues that affect the campus community; Including: alcohol use, abuse and misuse, AIDS, Tobacco awareness/cessation, fitness/nutrition and sexual health; to increase awareness communication within the academic community regarding health-related matters of college students.
Purpose: Residence Hall Association (RHA) serves all of the residence hall students in both Petro and Rimrock Hall. RHA’s main focus is social and educational programming for residents, providing ample opportunities for interaction and involvement.
Purpose: The Retort is the official newspaper of the students of Montana State University Billings. Its
primary purpose is to serve as a voice of the student body; conveying information
on news and events affecting the general student population.
Purpose: The Student Activities Board provides campus programming and activities for the student body. These programs are available to all campus students and funded by ASMSUB. SAB plans and organizes movies, lectures, socials, dances, concerts, and performing acts for the MSU Billings campus.
An organization whose purpose is faith-based instruction and fellowship.
Purpose: The purpose of Cru Billings, as articulated in the Charter, is to build movements of people who are transformed by Jesus Christ. The ministry seeks to introduce students to Jesus Christ, help them grow in their faith, encourage them to live life passionately under the lordship of Christ, and inspire commitment to advancing the purposes of God in the world.
Intervarsity Christian Fellowship
Purpose: To lead others to personal faith in Christ as Lord and Savior; to help Christians grow toward maturity as disciples of Christ, by study of the Bible, by prayer, and by Christian Fellowship; and to present the call of God to the world mission of the Church; to help students and faculty to discover God’s role for them.
Muslim Student Club
Purpose: To serve, educate, and inspire Muslim students at MSUB by promoting the progressive values and teachings of Islam and to advocate interfaith harmony in multicultural environment while creating a sense of community.
United Campus Ministry at MSUB
Purpose: United Campus Ministry strives to provide opportunities that help persons explore their faith, ask questions, work for justice, connect with God and enjoy Christian community!
An organization whose purpose is to provide an opportunity for individuals to discuss and share information and/or participate in activities regarding a specific, non-academic related topic of interest.
