Course summary: This free workshop will allow particpants to learn about basic car repair and maintenance of oil, coolant, and brake condition, and how to change a tire and measure tire pressure. Open to women of all ages. Lunch will be provided.

Women in Automotive - Advanced

Faculty: Kat Pfau, Automotive Instructor at City College at MSUB, and Amy Hunt, Automotive Technician
Course summary: This free workshop will allow participants to learn about their car. The student will bring the car into the lab and will work with the instructor to become familiar with her car, including changing the air filter if she wants. The lecture will dive deeper into the engine and the components required to make the engine function properly. Open to women of all ages. Lunch will be provided.
