The Grainger Foundation Supports Automotive Technology Program

MSU BILLINGS NEWS SERVICES — The Grainger Foundation, an independent, private foundation located in Lake Forest, Illinois, has donated $7,000 to the MSU Billings Foundation in support of City College at MSU Billings’ Automotive Electronics Program.

 

“This grant will be used to purchase an Automotive Lighting System Trainer, which will be beneficial in helping teach and train MSU students enrolled in our Automotive Electronics Program,” said Katherine Pfau, Department Chair and Automotive Instructor at City College.  “We are grateful to The Grainger Foundation for its generosity.”

 

The MSUB Foundation’s mission is to advance the goals of the university through investment and stewardship of financial support.  The Foundation promotes philanthropy, campus and community partnerships, and educational opportunities.

 

This donation was recommended by Chris Marron, Branch Manager of W.W. Grainger, Inc.’s, Billings location.  Grainger has been a part of the Billings business community for more than 50 years as the leading broad line supplier of maintenance, repair, and operating products.  “We are proud to recommend the programs supported through the Foundation of MSU Billings,” said Marron.  “We understand the need to offer assistance to students and faculty of the university.”
