About the Programs
While the MSUB and City College TRIO SSS programs are similar, they are two separate, distinct programs.
The programs at each campus provide comparable services with the same mission and vision. However, students can only be a participant of the TRIO SSS program associated with their campus and can only receive services from that program’s campus/staff. If a student requests services from the program in which they are not a participant, they will be declined as the programs are not funded to serve the other program’s participants.
MSUB TRIO SSS
This program is funded to serve students pursuing 4-year Bachelor’s degrees who plan to graduate from MSUB.
City College TRIO SSS
This program is funded to serve students pursuing certificates and 2-year Associate’s degrees who plan to graduate from City College and/or transfer to a 4-year institution.
A student of MSUB’s TRIO SSS program can only receive services from the MSUB TRIO SSS office and staff. They cannot receive services from the City College TRIO SSS program.
A student of City College’s TRIO SSS program can only receive services from the City College TRIO SSS office and staff. They cannot receive services from the MSUB TRIO SSS program.
