South East European University (SEEU)
South East European University (SEEU) is private, public, not for profit higher education institution, consisting of faculties, centers and institutes, specializing in socio-economic sciences. SEEU seeks excellence in teaching and research within the higher education system in the Republic of Macedonia, by offering equal opportunities for all, based on impartiality and merit.
SEEU is a multi-lingual university offering programs in English and also Albanian and Macedonian. International students usually enroll in English-language programs that are taught and resourced exclusively in this language. The University encourages a flexible use of language, and students and staff regularly communicate in any one of these three official languages.
Academic Year
Fall Semester= Late September to December (exams in mid-January, can be earlier)
Spring Semester= Mid-February to Mid-June (depending on exam schedule)
Courses Offered
SEEU offers courses covering a variety of topics, including business and economics, computer science, social sciences, design, nursing, languages, culture and communications, and law.
Accommodation
Accommodation on-campus Residence Halls are available for students, which has 24/7 internet access and central heating. Dormitories are divided into two main blocks, the female and male dormitories. For all requests and problems, which students may have, contact the person responsible for dormitories. The safety of students is of major importance; therefore, the entire Campus University Security works to safeguard the buildings. Based on the schedule determined by the internal rules of the University, every entrance and exit from the campus is monitored.
Off-campus housing is plentiful and varies in terms of location and cost.
Cost
MSUB students studying abroad at SEEU pay MSUB tuition. Students are expected to pay for their room and board in Macedonia upon arrival to SEEU.
Student living expenses will vary according to individual needs and the ability to budget and manage finances. In particular if you want to travel a lot and take full advantage of the available cultural and social opportunities, expenses will be higher. The estimates below are therefore only a very general guide.

Visas
A visa is not required for those who are visiting for fewer than 90 days. However, a student visa is needed before entering the country if you are staying longer than the 90 days requirement. The visa application process might take up to several weeks or even months so do try to file your application as soon as possible.

Health Insurance
To ensure comprehensive and quality coverage, all study abroad students are required to enroll in insurance that is provided through the designated Montana University System insurance provider. Please consult with the Study Abroad Coordinator for further information. This insurance is affordable with a typical semester averaging about $250.
