The mission of the Center for Engagement at MSU Billings is to connect students to the community through service and educational opportunities, which will strengthen the relationship between the University and local, state, and national agencies. The CE will help get students directly involved in civic engagement and will provide opportunities to help them become connected to the campus and Billings community.

The office will have information on various local agencies that are looking for volunteers so students can volunteer on an individual basis. Students will have direct access to the United Way’s Volunteer website. There are group volunteer opportunities available through the MSU Billings Student Volunteer Organization and students can become an AmeriCorps or VISTA member through the CE. The office will also be coordinating volunteer opportunities for all student organizations each semester.
