The last day to apply online for the Fall 2023 semester is 9-4-23. Spring, Summer, and Fall 2024 applications are open. If you started a Fall 2023 application before 6-30-23 and have not submitted it, please start a new application for admission as the previous session has expired.

SECONDARY EDUCATION Graduation from an accredited high school or passing score on an approved high school equivalency exam such as the HiSET or GED. Students who complete their secondary education through home schooling may talk to their New Student Admission Specialist through which option best suits them. FINANCIAL AID & SCHOLARSHIPS |
To determine eligibility for financial aid, complete the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) online. Apply for scholarships (priority given to applications received by February 1st). |

Students seeking a degree at MSUB are required to participate in orientation. Register online. |

Apply early for additional student support! MSUB offers various student support services and eligibility requirements may vary. Meeting with an advisor and program staff are highly encouraged. |

ACADEMIC RECORDS & ADVISING |
Submit high school transcripts and/or official transcripts from other colleges attended
at least 1 week before your advising Students seeking a degree at MSUB are required to meet with an advisor to develop a plan of study. See options for class registration. |

HOUSING |
Apply online. Application opens December 1st. (Priority given to applicants received before May 1st.) |

REGISTER AND PAY FEES |
Register for classes at a Fast Pass Registration Event and follow your plan of study. Following registration, arrange payment for tuition prior to the 3rd day of the semester to avoid being dropped. Make a payment plan online. |

Order new or used books from the MSUB Campus Store. |

Rolling Admission
MSU Billings has rolling admission, this means prospective students may apply at any time. However, we recommend you apply as soon as possible keeping in mind scholarship and financial aid priority deadlines.
