Student Recital
Free and open to the public.
Performance of pieces of various styles and instrumentation by students enrolled in the MSUB Music Department.
Jazz Combo Concert
Tickets available by donation at the door.
Jazz concert under the direction of Dr. Scott Jeppesen and Mr. Alex Nauman performing at Craft Local.
Student Recital
Free and open to the public.

Anna Rodriguez Piano Recital
Free and open to the public.
Anna Rodriguez will present a Senior Recital performing various pieces for piano.
Yellowjacket Music Showcase
Free of charge for all participating secondary schools.
We are thrilled to invite you and your students to participate in the Yellowjacket Music Showcase at Montana State University Billings on Thursday, November 21, 2024!
Event Highlights:
- Open to all student musicians, including bands, jazz bands, combos, choirs, modern bands, and soloists.
- Educational focus with direct feedback from experienced MSU Billings music faculty.
- A non-competitive environment that emphasizes learning and growth.
- Special performances by MSU Billings music students and faculty to inspire your students.
- Free of charge for all participating schools!
Event Schedule:
- Morning: Performance clinics for participating schools.
- Noonish: Lunch in the cafeteria (~$9/person).
- 1-2 PM: Campus tour and all-school instruction/performance.
- Evening: Free performance by the MSU Billings Jazz Ensembles and Commercial Band (Afro-Latin) at Cisel Recital Hall (7 PM), should you decide to stay.
Big Band and Afro-Latin Concert
Tickets available by donation at the door.
Jazz Big Band and Afro-Latin Ensemble concert under the direction of Professor John Roberts. Location moved to Cisel Recital Hall.
Choral Concert
Tickets available by donation at the door.
The MSUB University Chorus and Chamber Ensemble will perform under the direction of Dr. Daren Small.
Symphonic Band Concert
Tickets available by donation at the door.
The MSUB Symphonic Band will perform under the direction of Dr. Mark Fenderson.
Benjamin Stevens Trombone Recital
Free and open to the public.
Ben Stevens will present a Junior Recital performing on the trombone.
Chamber Ensembles Concert
Tickets available by donation at the door.
The MSUB Chamber Ensembles will perform under the direction of various faculty a number of pieces for different instrumentation such as woodwinds, saxophone, guitar, etc. This concert will be held at First United Methodist Church.
