Women come to Dress for Success Billings by referral only, from an ever-increasing number of non-profit agencies in Yellowstone, Big Horn, Carbon, Stillwater, and Musselshell counties. These include domestic violence and homeless shelters, pre-release centers, rehabilitation centers, job training centers, public assistance agencies, and churches. We offer a multitude of free services to the women in our community from interview suitings to wellness classes. Since our inception in 2000, we have served over 8,100.

Montana Rescue Mission (MRM) began in 1948 and was incorporated in 1957 to serve the homeless population in Billings, MT and the surrounding area. Our core values are to treat all people with dignity, compassion, and respect. Our programs and services are designed to help end the cyclical nature of homelessness. We are addressing causes, such as addictions, generational poverty, lack of education, poor budgeting skills, diminished mental or physical capacity, and others as well as serving those who are struggling to overcome these barriers one person at a time.

The Free Store is sponsored by the five Methodist Churches in Billings. The all-volunteer ministry was founded 10 years ago. No salaries are paid while donated items are given to the needy without any charge.
