2026 MSU Billings Science Expo
The 2026 MSU Billings Science Expo, originally scheduled for Saturday, March 14, 2026, will now be held on Saturday, March 21, 2026.
This was not an easy decision. We know how much time, energy, and excitement our Young Scientists, Judges, Teachers, and Volunteers have already invested in this event. However, out of an abundance of caution, we believe postponing the Science Expo is the right choice due to forecasted severe weather, including high winds, significant snowfall, cold temperatures, and blowing and drifting snow.
Above all, we want to protect the safety of every member of our Science Expo community. We are incredibly grateful for the care, enthusiasm, and commitment that each of you brings to this event, and we appreciate your understanding as we make this change with everyone’s well-being in mind.
Thank you for your flexibility and continued support of the 2026 MSU Billings Science Expo. We look forward to coming together and celebrating the hard work and creativity of our young scientists on March 21, 2026.

The 2026 MSUB Science Expo wil be held Saturday, March 14th 2026! This one day event will start with set-up at 9:00AM and end with awards announced starting at 4:00PM!

- Registration Deadline: February 23, 2026 Create an account and Register your science fair project.
- Science Fair: March 21, 2026 from 9am - 5pm (Judging until 3pm), Yellowstone Science and Health

- Set up begins at 9 am - Judging starts at 10 am
