SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

Writers
We accept poems, short stories, and flash fiction.
Please limit submissions to a maximum of 1500 words. Email your work to retort@msubillings.edu with the text in the body of the email or attached as a .docx. |
Artists
We accept all forms of art! This includes, but is not limited to, pictures of paintings,
drawings, photography, sculptures, ceramics, and the list goes on!
Please send your submission as a 300 PSI image. Shoot us an email if you need help! Email your work to retort@msubillings.edu as a .jpg or .png attachment. |
All Submissions:
The work needs to be your own writing or artwork. A.I is not accepted. We want to
see what YOU make!
Include your name and a description of what you are sending us, including the title
of the work.
Please limit your submissions to one per issue (once-a-month).
You might also consider submitting your work for consideration of inclusion in our
annual published journal The Rook.
