2025 Presentation Guidelines
Research - Poster Presentations: Poster presentations will take place in the Student Union Building - Glacier Room.
- Set up for poster presentations will be from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM on April 11.
- Students will be present for the start of the Symposium on April 11.
- Poster presentations will begin immediately following the keynote speaker.
Creativity - Oral Presentations: Oral presentations will take place in the Student Union Building - Glacier Room.
- Oral presentations will begin on April 11, starting time TBD.
- If presenting remotely or using any visual aids, please contact research@msubillings.edu to schedule a time to rehearse so no issues arise on the day of the event.
- Oral presentations will consist of a MAXIMUM 7-MINUTE presentation (some time will be allowed at the end for questions from the audience). The 7-minute maximum will be enforced. We do not want to interrupt your work, but understand that we have limited time for presentations and other students need time to present as well.
Asynchronous Presentations (Research & Creativity): It is understandable that some students might not be able to make the live event. In which case, we also provide asynchronous participation. These asynchronous presentations require:
- Video Link: Students should provide a video (no more than 7 minutes) of their project. Please provide the video YouTube link preferred) to research@msubillings.edu.
- Remote Students Presentation Guidelines
Scholar Works (Research & Creativity): All students are encouraged to submit their projects to ScholarWorks, an online repository that provides a permanent record of your project that you can share with future employers, graduate schools, family members, etc. More information can be found here.
