Edward “Buster” Moore, Jr.

Edward "Buster” Moore is a fluent Nakoda speaker and educator with over two decades of experience teaching the Nakoda language, history, and culture. He obtained his Class 7 teaching license in 2000 and has taught in both Harlem and Hays schools.

Buster served on the Fort Belknap Tribal Council from 2011 to 2013 and has been deeply involved in cultural preservation and youth engagement. For 26 years, he was the Cultural Coordinator for youth camps, and he continues his work today as the Cultural Coordinator for the Day Eagle Hope Project.

A proud member of the Fort Belknap Tribe, Buster remains dedicated to promoting and preserving Nakoda traditions and knowledge.
