What is Eduroam?
eduroam (education roaming) is a secure wireless network that is available to participating universities and institutions in the United States and abroad. It allows traveling MSUB students, faculty, and staff to securely connect to the Internet from any institution that is an eduroam member.
Additionally, visitors from other eduroam institutions can securely access the Internet while at MSUB, using credentials provided by their own institution.
When do I use eduroam?
Traveling MSUB students, faculty, and staff can use eduroam when visiting other eduroam-enabled institutions. Access the eduroam network using your NetID and password. It's helpful to configure the eduroam connection on your device before traveling so that you can test the connection.
How do I connect to eduroam?
Connect to eduroam by using your NetID and password. To connect:
- Choose eduroam from the list of available networks.
- Enter NetID@msubillings.edu in the Username field.
- Enter your NetID password in the Password field.
