Artist Statement

Observing something that may be uncomfortable is a constant in the human experience. Something may be labeled as mournful or nauseating, but looking beyond the initial thought and examining the taunting subject of death gives a glimpse of the beauty that comes. As we decompose into the Earth, we have our bodies grow into mushrooms, feeds plants and animals, and has us reuniting with nature. Encourage yourself to go out and look at the beauty of decaying.
