Artist Statement

I’m fascinated by the relationship between structures and memories. As spatial forms wither and decay do our memories too fade with the passage of time? This dollhouse is wrapped with scraps of wood fencing – the leftovers from my childhood home. What once surrounded my home now surrounds this neglected dollhouse that only holds the memories of a childhood once lived.
