Artist Statement 

It begins with a Surrender.

Amidst the darkness and death a mighty rushing wind and a voice of thunder command your lungs shudder and bloom back into life as a new breath fills them. A stream that never will go dry that pours from the holes in His hands, the very same that gently lift you to your feet and wipe the dust from your face. The scales fall from your eyes, allowing for you to see Him for the first time as tongues of fire crown your helm and declare you free at last.

And with a Surrender, morning finally breaks.
