Artist Statement

I found a deep passion for pottery after enrolling in a ceramics course as part of my general education requirements. I would never have imagined that my simple decision would impact my life so tremendously. That first interaction with the clay transported me to a peaceful and serene space that I did not know existed. Through my new love of pottery, and lifelong love of nature, I began creating pieces that symbolize their beauty and my newfound peaceful space.
